Earlier this year on February 23rd 2022 the Marina City Council unanimously voted to approve new Districts. These new maps are based on updated census data and comply with various Voter rights laws. District based elections aim to provide more accurate representation.

On November 8th 2022 only the offices of Mayor, District 1 and District 4 will be up for election.

I am excited to announce my candidacy for Marina City Council and I look forward to earning support during the campaign! As a long time public participant in the political process and the Chair / Vice-chair of your local Planning Commission I believe I have a strong record on the issues.

Marina is full of dreams and as your Councilmember it will be my job to help put those into action. We must prioritize carefully and focus diligently.

In the months running up to the election I look forward to personally speaking with any interested Marina resident, and especially those in District 1. This incredible place we call home should never be taken for granted. We must work hard to protect and improve the quality of life for all our residents, and I want to listen to what that means for you.
